PROGRAM PROGRESS REPORT
Today, on Saturday, 16 Sept, 2023, Shivalik Educational Social Welfare And Human Resource Society has participated in Mega Cleanup drive in collaboration with Nagar Nigam Dehradun under the Indian Swachhata League 2.0 and implemented Swachh Bharat Mission initiative fighting for ‘Garbage Free India’ at Rajeev Nagar, Dehradun community area.
60students from class 6th to 8th of Aadarsh Primary School Rajeev Nagar have also been motivated with Swachh Bharat Mission pledge and involved in this program with Shivalik Team members. Program has been conducted from 8 AM to 10 AM. Program activities are taking pledge of Swachh Barat Mission, picking-up garbage from the roads and community with wearing hand gloves, masks and putting them in the bags and collecting all the garbage bags at community dumping zone from where Nagar Nigam tractor has picked up all the garbage to transfer station.
Every participant has come together and completed the program successfully to make a significant impact on Dehradun’s cleanliness and to promote a healthier lifestyle with feel good sense.
Covered area is from Aadarsh Primary School Rajeev Nagar to Ring Road Fly-over.
