Theme: – “Swachhata Hi Seva”

Inspired by PM @narendramodi Ji’s call for #SwachhataHiSeva, Senior Members, Officials, and staff of @ Ward Name & No.: – 54, Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Marg, Ajabpur, Dehradun participated in the #SwachhataHiSeva Campaign today.
👉 The drive aimed at fostering social changes and sensitization towards #cleanliness and #sanitation in surrounding areas.

REPORT-
Today on Sunday 1st October 2023 Shivalik Educational Social Welfare And Human Resource Society has implemented the “Swachhata Hi Seva” clean-up drive on the theme “ , एक तारीख एक घण्टा ” successfully in Ajabpur, Dehradun community.
The event started at 10:00 a.m. from Prakash Vihar and covered all the Ajabpur community area along the by-pass road flyover. MLA Mr Umesh Sharma Cow triggered the event with taking Swachh Bharat pledge with Community councillor Ms Alka Dhanai, Municipal Corporation Sanitory Supervisor Mr Anand Praksh Paspona, around 50 participants from ward residents, shopkeepers, municipal sanitation workers and Shivalik Team members.
All the garbage has been picked-up from the roads under the flyover and streets in the communities and collected in garbage bags those have been picked-up by municipal sanitation workers in the waste transfer tractors and sent to the transfer station. All the community people including shopkeepers have been instructed to follow the rules of Swachh Bharat Mission and collect all the garbage at their home and nearby locality properly and dump them in local garbage bins installed by Municipality Dehradun. It will improve their health and hygiene and they will live a happy life.
